Any Keaton fan will know this is a poster for The General, but can anyone translate for us? My digging turned up the Zulu language or "fridge on the machine". Uh... I don't think so.

Seven Chances Poster

Nice German poster for Seven Chances. Although do you notice anything amiss? I don't think Buster wore his porkpie hat in this one. And in case you're German is a little rusty, the tagline translates to "The man with the 1,000 brides."

Allez Oop Poster

A cute poster for one of Buster's talkies, Allez Oop, which featured his Spite Marriage co-star (and long time girlfriend) Dorothy Sebastian.

The Bell Boy Lobby Card

Not sure if this is a poster or a magazine ad; looks more like an ad to me. At any rate, it's pretty fun.

Lobby card for the short film Moonshine. This apparently was just a publicity still as no scene like this appears in the film. That is Buster on the roof by the way.

The Laws Of Hospitality

Yeah-- if the post title confused you, you're not alone. That is the literal translation of the poster title below which is in French.

Considering the film's plot, that actually is a pretty good title, don't you think? And just in case you don't know, the English title is Our Hospitality.

Der Cowboy Poster

A German poster for Go West in the style of yesterday's poster. The statement at the bottom left translates to "They tearfully laugh at the saddest cowboy in the world." If you think of "saddest" as in "not too adept" then yeah, they are right, but I have a feeling they mean "sad" literally due to the Great Stone Face mystique.
