The Keaton Chronicle Wants You

The following info was posted on the Damfinos Facebook page recently: The International Buster Keaton Society (AKA The Damfinos) are looking for volunteer copy editors, proofreaders, writers and story ideas for future editions of The Keaton Chronicle. The Keaton Chronicle is the Damfinos quarterly magazine concerning all things Buster. I understand they are moving to a PDF format. If interested, contact them for more details.

Altered Ad

When I saw this framing ad in an old magazine, I knew the center frame was begging for a picture of Buster. So I added one (and changed the copy a bit at the bottom).

Yep, much more interesting now!

In The Works: Falling For Buster

The next video in the Silver 17 collection will be a compilation of Buster's cinematic pratfalls. Of course there is a lot to choose from. Some are balletic, some are incredible, some are silly, but they all are pretty darn funny.

Here's a little clip to whet your appetite. It's one of my favorites. I think I like it because it is so klutzy looking compared to most of his falls. It makes me laugh every time.
